WHAT’S NEXT IN THE CALL PROCESS?
The document we discussed is available in the Welcome Center and the PLC Lobby. Please pick one up, if you weren’t able to come to one of the forums. Also, please remember that the work of the Call Committee is completely confidential. You will receive no information about any candidate until the Board approves the recommendation of a candidate from the Call Committee. It will only be after that decision has been made that the congregation will be informed of who the candidate is and the next steps in the process. The only information you will receive from the Call Committee will be that they are interviewing candidates and then have recommended a candidate to the Board. So, please be patient and pray for the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
PRAY FOR THE CALL COMMITTEE
The Leadership Board has appointed the following disciples to the Call Committee: Stephanie Alumbaugh, Carolyn Chambers, Alicia Huntly, Zoey Koester, John Porter, and Jim Watson, Chairperson. Please pray for the Holy Spirit’s guidance on this process as they discern who will be called as the next Lead Pastor for St. John’s.
